Jacqui Driver

2. Jacqui Driver, Pulling at Layers, 2025, lithograph, 38 x 56 cm. $500

The fascination of thickets, specifically those created by the sea hibiscus, intrigues me. I see these entwined branches as a reflection of being caught up in cycles of thinking, sometimes the patterns support and protect me but other times they hold me back, I am caught up in the comfort of their repetition. The challenge is in finding a way through them or maybe it is also inside them by losing myself within the thicket.
