Georgia Steele
Georgia Steele is a Melbourne based artists a recent graduate of Fine Art at RMIT. Specializing in Printmaking Georgia fell in love with the process involved in print. The many layers that goes into making an image come alive. Her work is often inspired by patterns in nature and looking at alternative landscapes. Manipulating her images through collage, glitch or layering. Most recently working in mino printing using a silkscreen. Georgia is on the committe for the Print Council of Australia.

This series is an investigation into camoflauge and what it feels like to be hidden. The recent seties of lockdowns in Melbourne made me feel as if I was hiding. Out of mind out of sight. Looking at modern day patterns and expanding on a traditional Camo to reflect a feminine approach to pattern.
