#30 | Is the slow wait all I remember?, 2019, linocut. 94 x 75cm. $250

In this work I explore how memories are altered over time by new, negative experiences. Is the slow wait all I remember? reflects on the overhanging dread and bleakness of memories of loved ones in their last days. These last or close to last days are much easier to recall than other happier memories with them, the memories of waiting consumes all the lifetime spent with them, making it difficult to remember anything positive.
