These artworks are from Pellow’s 2022 solo exhibition, Subtract. Subtract is a collection of screen prints that celebrate the ephemerality of our time on earth. The transience of cloudscapes were the perfect subject to photograph as they cannot be premeditated and must be captured in the moment. Through a process of deconstruction and reconstruction, Pellow used the CMYK colour subtraction method to create these images.
